Andy has a teaching style that is open to what the player needs and his approach is to take the shortest route to getting there. Utilizing the SAM PUTTLab for evaluations enables him to determine where to start in the process. Often if you start at the right place more than one fault can be corrected.

While technology is needed to measure and train with (at times) it is important to become athletic at putting. Practicing is an important element of getting better. Andy teaches effective pre-shot routines (individual to the player), set up and alignment, breathing and head movements as well as swing mechanics. Proper practice methods and drills are given to the student that are relative to what they are working on.

Ultimately it comes down to reading the putt correctly, being able to hit it at your intended target, and controlling your distance. The best putters in the world are good at all three. Most amateurs are good at one of these skills and really not sure of how and where to improve.

Small Group

These group sessions of strong players is done outside at Edinburgh USA and is designed to hone your putting skills along with putting you under pressure by competing in drills, challenges and games with others.

I am already putting the system to work. Played with my Vegas buddy at 630 this morning and had a great putting round. Shot 77 with 26 putts! I hit 7 fairways and only 5 greens but read it and rolled it pretty solid. The chip in for eagle on 13 didn't hurt the numbers but just thought I would share another positive testimonial. I made at least three putts today that I would not have without Aimpoint and your instruction.

Here is something I hope you can use and post.
$200 to learn to read greens and use aim-point? I thought it was too much money for something I thought I already knew how to do. A few terrible misreads and realizing that my putting stats weren't very good away from my "home" course changed my thinking and I decided to take the aim-point green reading course. It was time and money well spent. My green reading is not 100% perfect, but it's a lot closer than before. It certainly leads to more confident putting when you have a definitive amount of break known instead of making a wild guess. The technology of the new golf clubs is great, but dollar for dollar, I think the aim-point class is a better investment in your game.

Hey Andy!! I wanted to give you an update. I have been working very hard and doing the putting drills. Putting is much better and I'm very confident. My handicap has gone down because of the better putting. I finished tied for 5th in the Club Championship with the low score on Sunday. I won the Senior Championship at Battle Creek and came in 2nd to a former pro in a 2 round league championship. Thanks so much, it was a breath of fresh air when I needed it.

Thank you again for your update on aim point. I have found aim point to be extremely helpful. In particular, it has taught me 3 things which have dramatically improved my golf scores:

1. I have learned to differentiate my technical stroke from my read of the putt.
2. I have corrected most of my misses to the high side which have resulted in substantially shorter come back putts.
3. My distance control has improved in large part due to confidence of my reads. I know that even if I miss, I will be pretty close.
